Restaurants Tweet for Thumbnail Marketing
Following our last post on Whither Twitter? came this great example of how Twitter can and should be used
effectively for specific marketing goals and audiences. The Twitter stream from Boston restaurant owners and their patrons builds community by using Twitter for thumbnail vignettes and menu items — and to solicit customer opinions. Ann Handley of Marketing Profs endorses this Twitter application for enhanced visibility and customer engagement. Since food lovers are already interacting in Twitter space, chefs and owners automatically have a clear place to find them. And, PS, since we were in Boston recently, here’s a Womantraveler blog recommendation on a few other local dining favorites.
